Father and son committed suicide: In Thane, Maharashtra, a 33-year-old man and his father committed suicide by lying in front of a train near Bhayander railway station. Police gave this information on Tuesday. Police said that the incident was recorded in CCTV. In the CCTV footage, both (father-son) are seen holding each other’s hands and lying on the tracks after seeing the train coming at around 9.30 am on Monday.

Both residents of Vasai

A Government Railway Police official said that at around 9 am on Monday, a local train left Bhayander railway station, in front of which both (father and son) committed suicide. Police have registered a case of accidental death and started investigation. The deceased have been identified as Jai Mehta and his father Harish Mehta (60), both residents of Vasai.
