Farrukhabad: Two friends had gone out at night to see the Janmashtami tableau, in the morning the bodies of both were found hanging from a tree

Sensation spread in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, when the bodies of two girls were found hanging from a tree. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the bodies in custody and sent them for postmortem and started investigating the case. Initial investigation shows it to be a case of suicide. The police has denied the possibility of rape and murder. Meanwhile, political rhetoric has started on this incident. Swami Prasad Maurya has targeted the state government regarding this. He has condemned the incident and talked about taking strict action against the culprits.

It is being told that Babli, 18 year old daughter of Ramdayal, resident of Bhagoutipur village of Kaimganj Kotwali area and Shashi, 16 year old daughter of Pappu, resident of the neighborhood, were friends. On Monday, they had gone to see the Janmashtami tableau in the village. When they did not return till late night, the family members speculated that they must have stayed with relatives in the village itself. In the morning, the bodies of both were found hanging from a tree in a mango orchard outside the village. The police is considering it a suicide, while the family members of the girls have suspected murder.

Bodies of two girls found hanging from a tree

Ram Dayal, father of the deceased Babli, said that his daughter had gone to see the tableau of Janmashtami at night with her friend Shashi who lives in the neighbourhood. When she did not return late at night, we thought that she must have stayed with relatives in the village. In the morning we came to know that two girls had hanged themselves. On reaching the spot, we saw that it was my daughter Babli and her friend Shashi.

Police is investigating the case from many angles

In this case, the Superintendent of Police said that two girls have hanged themselves in Bhagwatipur village of Kaimganj police station area. At present, this case seems to be a suicide, because no injury marks have been found on the bodies of the girls. The bodies of both have been sent for post-mortem. A mobile has been found from the spot, which is being investigated. The family members have given an application for investigation of the death case. The police is investigating this case from all angles.
