Faridabad: See how the accused were chasing Aryan’s car, shot him thinking he was a cow smuggler, VIDEO

In Haryana’s Faridabad district, a group of five cow vigilantes allegedly chased a 12th class student in a car, mistaking him to be a cow smuggler and shot him, killing the student. CCTV footage of the cow vigilantes’ actions has also emerged. The new CCTV footage shows how the cow vigilantes were chasing 19-year-old Aryan Mishra before killing him.

CCTV footage from the Gadpuri toll plaza on the Agra-Delhi national highway shows Aryan with his friends in a red Renault Duster on the night of August 24 and their car is being followed by a Maruti Suzuki Swift. All the five accused – who are currently in judicial custody – chase Aryan’s car and open fire on it minutes later, killing him.

Chased for 30 kilometers

Let us tell you that Aryan had gone out to have dinner with his friends Harshit and Shanky. The accused – Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, Adesh and Saurabh – revealed during interrogation that on the night of August 23, they received information that some suspected cow smugglers in two SUVs were patrolling the city. The accused mistook student Aryan Mishra and his friends Shanky and Harshit as cow smugglers and chased their car for about 30 kilometers near Gadpuri toll on the Delhi-Agra National Highway.

The accused told the police that when Aryan was asked to stop the car, he increased the speed of the car, after which they (the accused) shot at him near Gadpuri toll in Palwal, due to which Aryan, a class 12 student, died on the spot.

Shot even after stopping the car

Harshit was driving the Duster, Aryan was sitting next to him in the front seat. Shanky and two ladies were sitting in the back. After driving for about 25 km, Harshit broke through a barrier at a toll plaza. Then the attackers started firing at the car, in which a bullet pierced the rear window and hit Aryan. Harshit stopped the car after the initial shot, but the attackers fired another bullet in Aryan’s chest, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, all the five accused have been sent to judicial custody after being produced before a city court. The police have also recovered their illegal weapons and the car used in the crime.
