This is how fake 100 rupee notes were printed

According to Prayagraj Police, this madrasa had been a hub for printing fake notes for the past several months. Only 100-rupee notes were printed here. According to Prayagraj’s DCP City Deepak Bhukar, the acting principal of the madrasa was also involved in the illegal business of printing fake notes and circulating them in the market. He had given a room in the madrasa to those who printed fake notes. In return, he used to take a hefty commission.

Prayagraj police officials had told in a press conference that at present four people have been found to be involved in the gang. These people used to scan the 100 rupee note on a high quality scanner. After this, it was printed on A4 size paper. To make the note look real, green colour cello tape was applied on it. Most of the notes had the same number. The gang members themselves circulated fake notes in the market for a few days. After this, they had fixed a deal with some other people to give them on commission. The deal was being fixed to give three fake notes in exchange for one real note.

This is how the matter was revealed

The entire network was exposed when the police of Civil Lines police station of Prayagraj caught two people near the bus stand on the information of an informer.
