Salman Khan firing case: Gun firing took place in Salman Khan’s Mumbai home Galaxy Apartments on the morning of 14 April. In a statement given to the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police, Salman Khan had said, ‘I am a film star by profession and have been working in the Hindi film industry for the last 35 years. On many occasions, a crowd of my well-wishers and fans gather near my house Galaxy Apartment near Bandstand in Bandra. To show my love to them, I wave my hand from the balcony of the first floor of my flat. Also, when there is a party at my house, friends and family members, my father come, then I spend time with them in the balcony. After work or early in the morning, I go to the balcony to get some fresh air. I have also kept private security for myself.’

‘My bodyguard had lodged an FIR in Bandra police station on 14 April regarding the attack on my life. I have also come to know that Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have taken responsibility for this attack through a Facebook post. Earlier, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang had talked about killing me and my family in an interview. So I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members, carried out this firing when my family members were sleeping. His plan was to kill me and my family members, for which he carried out this attack.’ Salman Khan has signed this statement.
