On the night of 9th August in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, a trainee doctor of RG Kar Hospital was raped and murdered. In this case, the CBI has so far conducted polygraph tests of seven people. The main accused Sanjay Roy is also among these seven people. In this polygraph test, Sanjay Roy has confessed to committing the crime and has given full details of the night of the incident.
Aaj Tak has the complete details of the polygraph test of accused Roy. Sanjay Roy has said that on August 9, he went to different red light areas of the city. But he did not have sexual relations. He reached the hospital on the night of August 8-9 by bike with his friend Saurabh. Sanjay’s friend Saurabh’s brother was admitted in the hospital. Both of them had gone to the hospital to know about his condition.
Sanjay has told that at 11.15 pm that night, he and Saurabh both plan to drink alcohol after leaving the hospital. Both of them buy alcohol from a place named 5 Point, which is about a kilometer away from the hospital, and drink on the road. During this time, both of them decide that they will go to Kolkata’s red light area Sonagachi and have sex there. Both Sanjay Roy and Saurabh go to Sonagachi by bike but things don’t work out there. From here, both of them decide to go to Chetla, the red light area of South Kolkata.
Sonagachi is in North Kolkata while Chetla is a red light area in South Kolkata and the distance between the two areas is about 15 km. While going to Chetla, both of them molest a girl on the road, which is captured in CCTV. Both of them reach Chetla and drink beer. Saurabh pays money for it and has sex with her. Saurabh goes inside and Sanjay Roy stands outside and asks him to video call his girlfriend. He talks to his girlfriend on video call. He asks his girlfriend to send nude photos, and the girlfriend sends him nude photos. It is clear from this that Saurabh has sex with Sanjay Roy in Chetla but not Sanjay Roy. Both return on bike and during that time Saurabh asks her to go home.
Sanjay Roy tells that he drops Saurabh at the hospital, Saurabh goes to his brother to ask for cash to go home. Saurabh’s brother does not give cash, after which Saurabh books a Rapido through one of his friends and goes home. After this, Sanjay Roy reaches RG Kar Hospital between 3.30 and 3.40 in the night. He goes to the operation theater of the Trauma Center on the fourth floor in search of something. From the fourth floor, Sanjay is seen going to the corridor near the seminar hall on the third floor at 4.03 am. He has a Bluetooth hanging around his neck. It is clearly visible in the CCTV that Sanjay Roy is coming stealthily. He is alert and is looking for something.
Sanjay Roy tells that he goes to the seminar hall of the hospital. The victim was sleeping there, he directly presses her mouth and throat. The victim struggles a bit and then faints. In the meantime, he rapes her and kills her and leaves from there. Meanwhile, his Bluetooth is left at the crime scene. Sanjay Roy goes straight from the hospital to the house of Anupam Dutta in the fourth battalion of Kolkata Police and sleeps.
Let us tell you that on the morning of 9th August, the body of a 31 year old trainee doctor was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. The doctor was raped and murdered. Sanjay Roy was arrested in this case.
