Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s pain spilled out during a program in Jaipur. She said that in politics, things are not always the same. Everyone has to go through ups and downs. Actually, on Saturday, the ceremony of the new Rajasthan BJP state president Madan Rathore taking charge was organized. During this, BJP’s national vice president and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also attended the program. She congratulated Madan Rathore.
Addressing the party leaders and workers in the program, Vasundhara Raje said that politics is not the same all the time. Everyone has to go through ups and downs. There are three important things in politics. They are position, pride and stature. Position and pride do not last forever, but if the leader stays among the workers, then his stature remains. The path of politics is not easy. There are many setbacks in it, but we have to work for it by staying in the party.
Congratulating the newly appointed Rajasthan BJP state president Madan Rathore, the former chief minister said that Rathore’s path is not easy. It is not easy to handle these people (party workers). Our slogan is, ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’. Many people have failed to fulfill this in the past.

Who is Madan Rathod?
Let us tell you that Madan Rathod was born in 1950 in Raipur of Pali district. He has done graduation (BSc Mathematics) from Rajasthan University. In 1962, he became a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Then in the 1970s, he also worked as a propagandist of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. After this, he worked as a textile trader. He has been the Pali district president of BJP 4 times. He has been an MLA from Sumerpur assembly of Pali in the year 2003 and 2013. Did not get ticket in 2008, 2018 and 2023. But the party later sent him to Rajya Sabha. Currently he is a Rajya Sabha MP of BJP. The party has given him a big responsibility before the upcoming assembly elections on 5 seats.
Reasons to bet on Madan Rathore
Political experts believe that by appointing Madan Rathod as the state president, BJP is trying to strengthen its OBC vote bank. By appointing Madan Rathod, who belongs to the OBC caste Ganchi community, as the state president, BJP has balanced the caste equations and tried to strengthen the OBC vote bank which plays a decisive role in victory and defeat in the state. More than 50 percent of the voters in Rajasthan are OBCs, which include many castes and during the Lok Sabha elections too, OBC voters played an important role.
