Second Gentleman Doug Amhoff will make its debut on Jimmy Kimmel alive On Thursday, September 5, Kimmel made the announcement on his Wednesday night show.
Amhoff will be joined by Brian Tyree Henry and musical guest Muni Long on The ABC late night show.
Amhoff will be in Los Angeles on Thursday for an invitational fundraiser with hosts Patricia Gordon and Dan McLoone, Jason Hyder and Kirsten Hilleman and Greg Schlemowitz.
Amhoff is on the campaign trail with his wife, the vice president Kamala HarrisPresident Joe Biden has since stepped aside and Harris has become the Democratic presidential nominee. He recently spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, a night with the theme of bringing a “bold vision” for America’s future and a new generation of Democratic leadership.
During her speech she talked about her and Harris’ blended family and told the story of how she and Harris met and how she is a loving stepmother to their son and daughter. “She’s always been there for our kids, and I know she’ll always be there for you, too. Kamala is a joyful warrior,” he said. “Here’s the thing about joyful warriors: They’re still warriors. And Kamala is as tough as they come.”
