In such a situation, Meta believes that everyone should get an equal opportunity, other candidates are using Meta’s platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc. for campaigning, in the same way Donald Trump can also use these services.
Meta had banned it in the year 2021
Former US President Donald Trump was banned by Meta in the year 2021. Actually, there was violence in America during the year 2021 and after that social media accounts were banned. After this, he was banned on Meta’s Facebook and Instagram platforms.

While removing the ban, Meta’s global affairs president Nick Clegg said, the company believes that the American people should hear the persons nominated for the post of President in an equal manner.
