Devendra Yadav joined Jan Suraj and said- Bihar is in a bad state… farmers are troubled

Former RJD MP from Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha seat of Bihar, Devendra Prasad Yadav has joined Prashant Kishor’s party Jan Suraj. He said that he will once again establish socialism in Bihar politics.

After joining PK’s party in Patna, Devendra Yadav said, ‘Bihar is in a bad state. Farmers are in trouble. People take the names of Gandhi, Lohia, Ambedkar. But they do not seem to agree with their ideology. Most political parties have made it a mechanism to get votes. I am joining PK’s group because he is now working for women, the deprived and the poverty-stricken people. This will empower Bihar. There are many people here. Who is in the A2Z party?’

Referring to what the A2Z Party could have done during the last Lok Sabha elections, Yadav took a veiled dig at the RJD and claimed that they will re-establish socialism in Bihar’s political landscape. “They scare their brothers with Lohia’s words. They are disconnected from the voters. They are afraid of PK who is roaming in the interiors of Bihar and meeting people.”

Targeting the top leaders of RJD, he said that they have distanced themselves from their political ideology of socialism. Taking a jibe at the Centre, he said that he had started the Red Card scheme as a Union Minister, but the Centre is taking it forward.

Welcoming Devendra Prasad Yadav to Jan Suraj, PK said, “He has decided to join us. For me, he is not a leader, but one of the very few people who are described as a good human being. When I was on my padayatra in Madhubani district, I was told about his contribution. He will be one of the pathfinders. PK is not the leader of Jan Suraj. We will add people with high level political potential.”
