Deoria: Police who went to raid the house of the accused, scolded the women, the inspector said- will demolish the house with a bulldozer

A video of Bhatni police station in-charge Ranjeet Singh Bhadoria of Deoria district of UP is going viral, in which he had come to raid the house of the accused of 307. During this, the inspector Ranjeet Singh misbehaves with the women present in the house. The inspector is heard saying, ‘Are we your father’s slaves? Do we eat what you give us? When you know that your man is the accused, why doesn’t he appear? How many times did the police come to your house? You people are shameless, who is his wife? We will not let you live in peace until you appear.

The inspector did not stop here, he told the woman from the accused’s house that when you are talking about getting him bail, why don’t you get him bail, we will find him, we will demolish the house with a bulldozer, we will find him… during this time an old man comes forward. The police misbehave with him and take him away, they also abuse him. The women start crying and wailing.

Someone recorded this entire incident on mobile which is now going viral. It is alleged that there was no woman constable in the police who arrived for the raid. However, now Deoria police has said that they will investigate the matter. The video is said to be 4-5 days old.

Actually, during the elections in Bhatni police station area, there was a fight between two parties. On the complaint of Bhatni resident Avnish Sharma, the police had registered a case under section 307 against five people including Anand Gupta, Kanhaiya Gupta and Parmanand Gupta of the village. In this case, the police arrested Anand Gupta and his father Kanhaiya and sent them to jail. Later both of them were released on bail but Parmanand Gupta is still absconding.

The police is continuously raiding to arrest him and make him surrender. Despite that, the accused is not appearing in the court. In this connection, Bhatni police had reached the house of the accused to raid, in which apart from the SHO, other policemen were also present, where someone made a video and made it viral on social media. The police is also accused that there was no woman policeman in the police team that reached to raid.
