Delhi Weather: Clouds camp in Delhi-NCR, when will it rain heavily? Know what the latest update of IMD says

The mood of the weather in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas seems to have changed. People here have got relief from the humid heat and the temperature is also decreasing. However, people are still waiting for good monsoon rains. Heavy rains were absent in NCR including Delhi and Noida this season, but whenever there was heavy rain, the clouds rained in such a way that it made up for the long rain deficit.

With the onset of monsoon, heavy rains fell on 28 June in entire Delhi, after which it rained heavily on 29 July and till now people are waiting for rain. However, in the meantime, light rains are continuing at some places. The Meteorological Department has once again predicted good rains.

Delhi weather update

According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on 7th and 8th August while there is a possibility of heavy rain in Noida on 9th and 10th August. Ghaziabad can also see rain on 9th and 10th August but before that, i.e. on 7th and 8th August, drizzle can be seen in NCR.

Apart from this, weather forecasting agency, Skymet says that monsoon is going to remain active for a long time in the coming days in the capital Delhi. Seasonal rain will continue throughout this week. Monsoon rain will intensify and spread around the end of the week. Good rain is expected in Delhi today, August 7, in which heavy rain may occur in the evening and night at some places. At the same time, sporadic weather activities will continue throughout the week. During this time, the capital Delhi may receive more than 100 mm of rain and it may reach close to the monthly target of 233.1 mm.
