SDM has submitted a report on the death of a UPSC aspirant due to electric shock in South Patel Nagar area of ​​Delhi. The report states that the 26-year-old UPSC aspirant accidentally touched the iron gate, which came in contact with the open wire of the water pump. The death of Nilesh Rai was investigated by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Patel Nagar.

In fact, on July 22, candidate Nilesh Rai died after touching an electric gate after heavy rain in Patel Nagar area of ​​​​Central Delhi. Engineer Rai, a native of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, had come out of his PG to buy something. In the investigation report, the SDM of Patel Nagar said that the wire of the water pump was in contact with the iron gate, which the victim touched by mistake. This is the reason why he died.

Condition worsened due to rain

The report states that the wire with damaged insulation was touching the iron gate at several places. This wire supplied power to the water pump. The report states that the situation worsened due to heavy rains on the day of the incident, resulting in the death of the victim Nilesh Rai.

MCD launched a big campaign

In his report, the SDM has recommended police verification of all PG accommodations and ensuring security of all such accommodations and residential libraries. He has also asked the MCD to launch a comprehensive campaign to regulate them.

The woman arrived after hearing the scream

According to the information, when Nilesh Rai was returning to PG after drinking tea in the afternoon, there was water outside the gate of the street and there was current in the gate. The young man got caught in the same current. When a woman who was ironing clothes nearby heard the scream, she rushed to the spot. According to the eyewitness woman, the young man kept screaming for help for a long time, but it was too late when people reached the spot for help. Due to the fear of current spreading, people also kept avoiding going near for a long time.

Delhi BJP had said- this is murder

After this incident, BJP had declared the death of the youth as murder. Delhi BJP tweeted that Kejriwal Gang, the only mistake of this UPSC student was that he came to study in your London. He did not know that there is a useless government here which runs only through press conferences! Such incidents are happening every day in the country’s capital, the lives of common citizens have no value here! A murder case should be registered against Kejriwal Gang!
