At the same time, a person made an indecent comment on social media about Captain Anshuman Singh’s wife, against which the National Commission for Women (NCW) has now asked the Delhi Police to take immediate action. Let us tell you, the IFSO unit of the Special Cell of Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case of indecent remarks made on the widow of Kirti Chakra winner Captain Anshuman Singh. The NCW has recently taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police. Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case. Smriti Singh received the Kirti Chakra awarded posthumously to her late husband Captain Anshuman Singh on July 5.

Let us tell you, a user made a lewd comment, calling himself Ahmed. His identity is being confirmed. This comment was made on the photo of Smriti receiving the award at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In response, the National Commission for Women took cognizance of the matter and sought police action for this. Sources say that an FIR has been registered under BNS. This is a violation of Section 79 of the Indian Justice Code, 2023 and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
