After the incident at RAU’s IAS coaching centre in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, Delhi Police and Delhi Municipal Corporation are continuously taking action. Now MCD has sealed the coaching centre Drishti (The Vision) located in Nehru Vihar. MCD said that during the survey, coaching was found going on in the joint basement of Tower No. 1, 2 and 3 located in Nehru Vihar, Delhi, which has been sealed.
Explaining its action, the corporation said that the MCD has sealed Drishti Vision IAS for violating building rules of using the basement for coaching/teaching purpose.

MCD also informed that during the survey conducted by the field staff, coaching was found running in the joint basement of tower number one, two and three in violation of the occupancy certificate, after which the team took action and sealed the coaching centre.
13 coaching centres were sealed earlier
Earlier on Sunday, the Delhi Municipal Corporation sealed 13 coaching centres running illegally in basements. Also, notices have been pasted on the coaching centres.

MCD officials visited many coaching centres in Rajendra Nagar area and took action after investigation. Mayor Shaili Oberoi, while giving information about the action, said that MCD has started the process of sealing all the coaching centres in Rajendra Nagar which are being run in violation of rules in the basement and if needed, this campaign will be run in the whole of Delhi. 13 coaching centres were sealed till late night.
7 accused arrested
Let us tell you that the police has arrested 5 more people today in the case of the death of three students after water filled in the basement. Earlier, the owner and coordinator of the coaching center were also arrested. That is, a total of 7 arrests have been made in this case so far. The police has also arrested the driver of the vehicle (SUV) who passed by the main road. It is being said that the pressure increased due to the car leaving and water entered inside the building.
