According to the information, Rajendra Pal Gautam will join the Congress party today at 11.30 am. Let us tell you that in October 2022, Rajendra Pal Gautam resigned from the post of minister of Delhi government after being embroiled in controversies over his statement on Hindu deities. He shared his resignation letter on social media.
In a conversation with Aaj Tak after his resignation, Rajendra Pal Gautam had said that a Buddhist initiation ceremony was organized on Vijayadashami. This event is organized at thousands of places across the country on that day, in which a large number of people participate. On 14 October 1956, Baba Saheb took initiation into Buddhism with 22 vows against caste-based untouchability. Every year people repeat these vows while taking initiation into Buddhism. The Modi government has published it in Dr. Ambedkar’s Life and Speeches. Its plaque has also been installed in Nagpur. This year too, two ministers of the Government of India went to the program there. BJP created a ruckus over those vows.

He further said that I am a man who follows the path of Baba Saheb, I cannot hurt anyone’s feelings. I have faith in all religions. Aam Aadmi Party is working for education, health, women safety and social justice in the interest of the public. Baba Saheb’s dreams will come true through all this. I have resigned after being hurt by the way BJP tried to hurt people’s feelings. There is no pressure from the party on me, I myself am a lawyer by profession.
‘Resigned of my own free will’
Rajendra Pal Gautam had said that I am a staunch patriot and a believer of Tathagata Buddha, I do not get distracted. People like those people are staunch towards their religion, I am staunch towards the teachings of Tathagata Buddha, I have resigned voluntarily.
