A very shocking incident has come to light from Najafgarh area of the capital Delhi. Here the daughter has been accused of murdering her mother. It is alleged that 26-year-old Monika along with her fiancé Naveen Kumar brutally murdered her mother at midnight on August 16. Naveen’s friend was also involved in this incident.
According to the DCP of Dwarka district, on August 16, a woman from Najafgarh area called the PCR control room and said that her mother was not opening the door. She needed police help to open the door. The police reached the spot shortly after receiving the call. During this time, the woman who made the call was found standing outside the house.
The caller told her name as Monika and said that she was standing at the door for a long time. The mother is neither picking up the phone nor opening the door. After this, the police broke the door in front of Monika. The scene inside the house was terrifying. All the household items were scattered and the dead body of 58-year-old woman Sumitra was lying on the floor. There were marks of injury and scratches on the face and body, blood was flowing from the mouth.
Seeing the condition of the house, the police registered a case of murder and started investigation. When the police searched the CCTV footage around the house, the officers were stunned. In the CCTV footage, Monika, who called the police, was seen arriving at 2 am with her fiancé and a young man. After this, the police detained Monika and her fiancé Naveen Kumar and Naveen’s friend Yogesh and interrogated them. After interrogation, they were arrested. At present, the police is trying to find out what was the reason behind this murder?
