There was a commotion in Ghode Wali Gali located on Gaushala Road in Karol Bagh, Delhi, when a team along with CRPF reached there to seal the house after the court’s order. The people living here say that they have been living here for the last 100 years, but suddenly their houses are being sealed.
One of the locals said, “Many of our generations have been born here and now where will we go suddenly?” The families living here say, “Let us stay here.” It is being said that this entire area falls under the slum. Aam Aadmi Party MLA Vishesh Ravi said that a person goes to the court and claims himself to be the owner and the court also gives the decision in his favour.

He said that the officers had come here for the verification of the same but they are opposing the court’s decision. When the CRPF jawans reached for the sealing, the local people pelted stones at them. During this, a sub-inspector got injured, who later had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. According to the police, police forces were deployed on the spot for the sealing drive.
People were evacuated from three properties
Police said that during this operation, people were evacuated from three properties. During this, the situation worsened when local people threw stones at the police and CRPF personnel. A sub-inspector suffered minor injuries in this stone pelting. Police said that legal action has been initiated after this incident.
A team of commandos was deployed on the spot
A 24-second video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media in which some female CRPF personnel are seen taking the victim away from the spot. In the video, it can be seen how tense the situation was and how the women had to be evacuated with the help of security forces. Police said that teams of commandos and security personnel were deployed on the spot for security.

Police is patrolling the area, appealing for peace
Despite this, the protest by the locals forced the police to take strict measures to maintain law and order. After this incident, the police vigilance and alertness has been increased and additional forces have been deployed in the area to prevent any further disturbance.
