Delhi Honour Killing: In Delhi, two brothers together strangled their sister to death. The brothers suspected that their divorced sister was having a love affair with someone. Due to this, both the brothers committed this horrific crime of honor killing. After this, both of them absconded. Now the police is searching for both the accused.

Giving information about this case, Central Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) M Harshvardhan told PTI that the police received information about this incident at around 4.30 am on Thursday. After which the police team reached Hauz Qazi area of ​​​​Central Delhi and recovered the body of the 35-year-old woman from a house.

DCP M Harshvardhan further said that both the accused suspected that their sister was having an affair with someone after the divorce. They had started suspecting her activities and due to this, they were feeling humiliated.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, upset with this, he planned to kill his sister. He said that according to the initial investigation, she was strangulated to death. But the real cause of the woman’s death will be known only after the postmortem report comes.

The police officer said that the police is also investigating the footage of CCTV cameras. The DCP made it clear in this incident that there are no signs of sexual assault on the woman. After the murder, both the brothers had absconded. In this case, the police has now formed a team to trace and arrest the absconding Abdullah and Areeb.
