Cases of drug and gold smuggling are often reported at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in the national capital. Now the CBI has arrested a German citizen of Indian origin at IGI with about 6 kg of cocaine, which is said to be worth Rs 30 crore.
Regarding the arrest of the German citizen, sources said that based on secret information, the CBI has arrested a German citizen of Indian origin with a consignment of about six kilograms of cocaine. The cost of which is said to be Rs 30 crore.
According to the input from Interpol, the accused was travelling in Indigo Airlines flight number 6E 1308 from Doha to New Delhi. He had hidden the cocaine in capsules inside two soft toys. The accused had hidden 270 capsules inside the toys.

The source also said that after 6 kg cocaine was recovered from the accused, he has been taken into custody and further investigation into the case has been started. The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar.
