Delhi coaching incident: Expressing grief over the Delhi coaching accident, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that this collapse of infrastructure is a combined failure of the system. He said that a safe and comfortable life is the right of every citizen and the responsibility of the governments. Rahul Gandhi wrote on the social media platform X on Sunday that the death of competitive students due to waterlogging in the basement of a building in Delhi is very unfortunate. A few days ago, a student died due to electric shock during the rains. I express my heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families. He further wrote that this collapse of infrastructure is a combined failure of the system. The common citizen is paying the price of unsafe construction, poor town planning and non-accountability of institutions at every level by losing his life. A safe and comfortable life is the right of every citizen and the responsibility of the governments.

Let us tell you that 3 students died due to rain water filling in the basement of a coaching center in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. Delhi Police has identified the students who lost their lives in this accident. According to Delhi Police, Shreya Yadav was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in UP. While Tanya Soni was from Telangana and Navin Dalvin was from Ernakulam in Kerala.

Meanwhile, the students of Rajendra Nagar have written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu demanding registration of FIR against the coaching institute and MCD. It is written in it that a very unfortunate incident has happened in Old Rajendra Nagar and Patel Nagar in the last two days. Some students have died due to the criminal negligence of the coaching institute and MCD officials. The students demand that FIR be registered against all the culprits related to the incident.
