DDA Flats: Your dream of buying your own house in Delhi will be fulfilled, DDA is launching 3 housing schemes today

A golden opportunity is starting today for the people who are dreaming of a house in Delhi. Actually, today Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is launching three new housing schemes. The application process for the flats included in this will start from today. It is being said that this time DDA has decided to sell about 40 thousand flats.

Today, the brochure of the scheme will be uploaded on the DDA website. From today, the customer will first have to register for the flat by depositing the registration amount. The flats of this scheme are built in Jasola, Loknayakpuram and Narela and under this, all categories – HIG, MIG, LIG ​​and EWS flats are kept for sale.

The details of the 3 housing schemes that DDA is launching today are as follows-

1. DDA Affordable Home Housing Scheme 2024: Keeping the low-income group in mind, this scheme is providing low-income group (LIG) and economically weaker section (EWS) flats at subsidized rates. These flats are available in areas like Ramgarh Colony, Sirsapur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini and Narela. Offered on a first-come-first-served (FCFS) basis, this scheme makes home ownership more accessible to the common man. Around 34,000 flats will be available under this, with a starting price of less than Rs 11.5 lakh.

2. DDA General Housing Scheme 2024: This inclusive scheme offers flats in all categories including high income group (HIG), middle income group (MIG), LIG ​​and EWS in areas like Jasola, Loknayakpuram and Narela. It is worth noting that the prices have been fixed at 2023 rates, so there will be no increase in prices. Around 5,400 flats will be available under this scheme, starting at around Rs 29 lakh.

3. DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024: For those who want to live in a high-class locality, this scheme offers MIG, HIG and high-class flats in Sector 14, 16B and 19B of Dwarka through e-auction process. This scheme is a special opportunity to become a home owner in the prestigious locality of Dwarka. A total of 173 flats will be available under this scheme, whose starting price will start from Rs 1.28 crore.

What is the first come, first serve scheme?
Actually, earlier DDA flats were allotted through draw. The person who got a house in the draw was considered very lucky. But most of the people were not able to get their favourite flat. Because allotment was done through draw. But now you will get your desired flat under ‘first come, first serve’. According to DDA, registration is starting from 19th August, that is, the date of booking has not been announced yet. From 19th, the customer will have to first deposit the registration amount and register for the flat.

Registration will not mean booking. DDA will fix a separate date for booking. Those who register will be eligible to apply for the flat. Then on the date of booking, DDA will inform that the customer who has registered can go and do all the other investigations including sample flat. The flat will be shown to the customer before the house is allotted. When the customer likes the house, then the process of registration will start.
