Legends League Cricket in Kashmir: Cricket is going to bloom in Kashmir once again. Many legends including Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik are going to make a splash here. This is going to happen in Kashmir after 38 years, when fans will be able to watch legendary players playing in the stadium.

Actually, Legends League Cricket (LLC) is going to start in Kashmir from 20th September. This will be the third season of this league. Many legendary cricketers including Dhawan and Karthik will play in this league. A pool of 200 players was created for the tournament.

India-Australia ODI was held in 1986

Let us tell you that before this, the last ODI match was played between India and Australia in Kashmir 38 years ago. Since then, no international match has been played here and neither have any international players played on the field.

Now, efforts are being made to create a cricket environment in Kashmir through the Legends Cricket League. This is also a good initiative for the state. Although matches have been taking place under domestic tournaments in the meantime, there has been no league or match involving international cricketers.

6 teams will play 25 matches, the final will be held in Srinagar

Australia defeated India by 3 wickets in the last ODI match held in September 1986. This match was held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. This time there will be a franchise league, which will start on 20 September at Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur.

In this, 6 teams will play 25 matches. The final between the top two teams will be held on October 16. A pool of 200 players was made in the tournament. The final will be held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

Players’ auction will be held today

Legends League Cricket co-founder Raman Raheja said, ‘The next season of Legends League Cricket is about to start. We are happy that this time matches will be held in Kashmir as well. This will be the first opportunity for the people of Kashmir to watch live cricket in the stadium after 40 years.’

The organizers said that last season the league was watched by 18 crore people in India. Last time, legends like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, current coach of India Gautam Gambhir, Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, Ross Taylor participated in it. The auction of players for the league will be held on Thursday (29 August).

2 matches were played in Kashmir, Indian team lost in both

Only 2 international matches have been played in Kashmir so far. Both of them were ODI matches, which were held in Srinagar. The first match was held on 13 October 1983, in which India and West Indies clashed. West Indies won this match by 28 runs. After this, India lost to Australia in the match held in 1986. In this way, the Indian team could not win any match in Kashmir.
