Court’s big decision in gangster Anandpal encounter, murder case will be filed against police officers

A new twist has emerged in the encounter case of Rajasthan’s famous gangster Anandpal Singh. Jodhpur court has rejected the CBI’s closure report in this case. ACJM CBI court has taken action against 5 policemen involved in this encounter. The court has ordered prosecution and investigation under section 302 against the policemen involved in the encounter.

Let us tell you that Anand Pal was killed in an encounter on 24 June 2017. A case was filed by the family calling this encounter fake.

Anandpal’s family had raised questions on the encounter

After the encounter of the gangster, his family members had challenged it in the court calling it a fake encounter. At the same time, the CBI had given a closure report to the court in this case. In this report, the matter of fake encounter was denied. But Anandpal’s wife’s lawyer argued that there were injury marks on Anand Pal’s body. He said that other evidence also proves that this was a fake encounter. After which the court has ordered to prosecute the then Churu SP Rahul Barhat, then Additional SP Vidya Prakash Chaudhary, DSP Suryaveer Singh Rathore, RAC Head Constable Kailash involved in the encounter.

How did the encounter happen?

Police had said that Anandpal’s associates had told them that he was hiding in Salasar. After confirming the news, SOG tried to capture Anandpal by laying siege. Police had said that as soon as the police team reached there, Anandpal started firing at the police from the roof of the house. SOG also fired in retaliation. Anandpal was killed in the firing. He was hit by 6 bullets. Officials had said that about 8 to 9 crore rupees were spent in capturing Anandpal.

It is said that Anandpal was very fond of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. He used to read and follow every news related to Dawood. According to police sources, when Anandpal was in jail, he used to read books written on Dawood.
