The Pathankot District Court has announced the punishment against the culprits in the murder case of cricketer Suresh Raina’s uncle. The court has sentenced all the people found guilty in this case to life imprisonment and a fine of two lakh rupees each.
Let us tell you that in the year 2020, some people broke into a house in Thariyal village of Pathankot and carried out a robbery and also attacked the people present in the house. Two people died in this incident, one of whom was cricketer Suresh Raina’s uncle.
Police had registered a case against 12 people
After this murder incident, a case was registered against 12 people in Shapur Kandi police station. During the hearing in the district court of Pathankot, all the 12 accused were sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 2 lakh each.
Regarding this case, lawyer Harish Pathania said that this murder case is of 2020 in which two people died. One of them was cricketer Suresh Raina’s uncle. The surprising thing was that some women were also involved in this robbery.
