Contractor murdered in broad daylight in Patna, miscreants shot him while he was going to the temple

In Bihar’s capital Patna, miscreants shot and killed a man in broad daylight. The incident took place in Sultanganj police station area of ​​Patna city where miscreants shot three bullets at a man named Shankar Verma (age – 50 years). CCTV footage of this murder has also surfaced in which all four criminals are visible.

There was a stir in the area after this murder happened in broad daylight. Now Patna police is trying to identify the criminals on the basis of CCTV footage. The criminals ambushed 50-year-old Shankar Verma and attacked him when he was going to the temple to offer prayers as usual.

Before he could reach the temple, four criminals suddenly attacked him and shot him dead. After committing the murder, all the accused fled from the spot waving pistols in the air. This incident of murder was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.

As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Sultanganj police station reached the spot and took the dead body in their custody and sent it to PMCH for postmortem. At the same time, the brother-in-law of the deceased Shankar Verma, Santosh Kumar, told that he had a criminal history and he had gone to jail many times.

Santosh Kumar said that after coming out of jail, his brother-in-law had built a temple at Rani Ghat near his house and he was going to the temple with water to worship as usual when this incident happened.

He told that his brother-in-law was a contractor in the building construction department of the Bihar government. He had also contested the councillor election in Patna University area but had to face defeat. The police has claimed that the culprits will be arrested soon.
