Congress Parliamentary Party meeting, The general meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party will be held on July 31 at 10 am in the Central Hall. The meeting will be chaired by Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi. On Monday, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party over the Mahabharata-like budget and said that there is an atmosphere of fear in the country. He said that the country is now trapped in the Chakravyuh of lotus. He referred to the BJP’s election symbol lotus.

Rahul Gandhi targeted PM Modi

Speaking on the Union Budget 2024 in the Lok Sabha, the Leader of Opposition attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the farmers, labourers and youth of the country are scared. Rahul Gandhi criticised the Prime Minister for prominently displaying the lotus symbol and claimed that a new Chakravyuh has been created in the 21st century. He said that thousands of years ago in Kurukshetra, six people trapped Abhimanyu in a Chakravyuh and killed him. I did a little research and found that Chakravyuh is also called Padmavyuh, which means lotus flower. Chakravyuh is shaped like a lotus. A new Chakravyuh has been created in the 21st century, that too in the shape of a lotus flower. The Prime Minister wears its symbol on his chest. India is being ruined because of what happened to Abhimanyu. Youth, farmers, women, small and medium businessmen are being ruined. Abhimanyu was killed by six people. Even today, there are six people at the centre of the Chakravyuh. Even today six people rule India – Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Ajit Doval, Ambani and Adani.

The opposition leader said the budget has hit the middle class, which used to enthusiastically beat thali at the behest of Prime Minister Modi. The opposition leader attacked Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for not mentioning the paper leak issue in the budget speech, saying it is the biggest issue affecting the youth. Rahul Gandhi alleged that 70 cases of paper leak have been reported in the country in the last 10 years.
