The idea of communism and the United States going together is almost unimaginable. For both of them to go together and exist together may be a contradiction in itself. Communism, which is now considered an archaic movement or ideology, has once again raised its head in this capitalist country. The newly formed Revolutionary Communists of America (RCA) held its first congress in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Actually, Revolutionary Communists is a global movement, which is active in many countries. Now it has started in America as well. After the meeting, about 500 RCA members marched on the streets of Philadelphia waving red flags with hammer and sickle symbol. As the march progressed, the slogan ‘Class War 2024’ echoed. Elon Musk gave a short but strong response to the RCA march video.

RCA calls billionaires parasites
RCA shared the video of the march from its handle, whose caption read, ‘Billionaires are Parasites’. Elon Musk expressed surprise at the video caption of RCA March and posted an exclamation mark in the comment section. Let us tell you that the owner of social media platform ‘X’ is Elon Musk, who is counted among the richest industrialists in the world. Perhaps Elon Musk must have given this reaction to calling billionaires ‘parasites’ on a platform owned by a billionaire.

By responding to the post of Revolutionary Communist of America with an exclamation mark, Elon Musk probably wanted to say that he does not have words to comment. Perhaps he was also taking a dig at the Communist Party. Communism and America, no matter how different they are from each other, does not mean that this capitalist nation has not seen any influence of Karl Marx’s philosophy. In the early 20th century, the Communist Party USA emerged in America, which played an important role in labor movements and civil rights activism. The Revolutionary Communist Party of America was founded in February this year. Comrades from all over America gathered at the founding ceremony of the party.
