Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant has ruled out the possibility of joining politics. On Friday, when Nishant went out shopping at a shop in Patna, the media asked him if he would join politics, Nishant replied that he is following the path of spirituality.

Nishant said that he is walking on the path of spirituality while ruling out the possibility of joining politics.

Who is in Nitish’s family?

Unlike Lalu Yadav’s family, Nitish Kumar’s only son Nishant Kumar (48 years) has never been involved in any controversy. Neither is he active in politics. Nishant is an engineer like his father. Nitish belongs to the OBC community (Kurmi Samaj) and he had an intercaste marriage in February 1973. Nitish’s wife Manju Kumari Sinha was a Kayastha and a teacher in a school in Patna. She passed away in 2007. Nitish’s siblings and family also stay away from politics.
