CM Mohan Yadav takes big action on Sagar accident, DM-SP removed, Shahpur CMO suspended, compensation announced

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken action in the case of the death of seven children due to the collapse of a wall near a temple in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. After this accident, the CM has given instructions to remove the collector, SP and SDM (Sagar) of the district. Apart from this, the doctor of Shahpur Primary Health Center has also been suspended. CM Mohan himself has given this information through social media.

The Chief Minister posted on ‘X’ and wrote, “Taking seriously the tragic incident of the death of innocent children in Shahpur of Sagar district, I have directed to remove the Collector, SP and SDM (Sagar) of the district. Also, Dr. Hariom Bansal posted at the Primary Health Center Shahpur is being suspended with immediate effect. Even before the monsoon, I had instructed all the officers of the state, I am again instructing everyone to be sensitive towards such incidents, work with appropriate measures and promptness, so that such an incident does not happen again in the future.”

Taking seriously the tragic incident of the death of innocent children in Shahpur of Sagar district today, instructions have been given to remove the Collector, SP and SDM (Sagar) of the district.

Also, Dr. Hariom Bansal posted at Primary Health Center Shahpur is being suspended with immediate effect.

Chhatarpur collector becomes the new DM of Sagar

According to the news agency, Sagar District Collector Deepak Arya has been transferred as Deputy Secretary in the State Secretariat in Bhopal. The current collector of Chhatarpur, Sandeep GR, has been made the new collector of Sagar. Sandeep GR is a 2013 batch IAS. Apart from this, Sagar SP Abhishek Tiwari (2013 batch) has been made Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in Bhopal Police Headquarters. In his place, 2014 batch IPS Vikas Kumar Sahwal, who is currently the SP of Raisen, has been made the new SP of Sagar.

CMO of Shahpur suspended in the case

Earlier, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had suspended the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) and a sub-engineer of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat. Along with this, the civic bodies of the state were directed to identify dilapidated buildings and take action.

President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over this incident. Apart from this, the Prime Minister’s Office has also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased, while the injured will be given Rs 50,000 each. Earlier, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

9 children died due to wall collapse

This incident is from Sanodha police station area of ​​Rahli assembly constituency of Sagar district. On Sunday, Shivling making and Bhagwat Katha were being organized in Hardaul temple of Shahpur. As it was a Sunday holiday, children had also reached there to make Shivling. At the place where the children were sitting and making Shivling, the wall next to the temple premises collapsed, in which some children got buried. When the debris was removed by JCB, the children died on the spot. Apart from this, the death of seven children was confirmed when they reached the hospital.

The age of the deceased children was between 10 and 15 years.

The children who died in this incident are said to be between 10 and 15 years of age. According to officials, the deceased have been identified as Dhruv Yadav (12), Nitesh Patel (13), Ashutosh Prajapati (15), Prince Sahu (12), Parv Vishwakarma (10), Divyansh Sahu (12), Dev Sahu (12), Vansh Lodhi (10) and Hemant (10). This is the second such incident in the last two days. Earlier on Saturday, four children died while a woman and a child were injured when a vehicle fell from a building wall while returning home from school in Rewa district.
