AAP vs BJP on Kejriwal’s health issue: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s health was in “serious” danger while in judicial custody. Countering this, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva claimed that the AAP leader was making repeated statements on Kejriwal’s health to mislead the court and get him bail.
Kejriwal’s sugar level is at a dangerous stage
Addressing the media, Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi said that Kejriwal, who is suffering from diabetes, has a dangerously low sugar level. Atishi said, ‘The BJP conspired to put Kejriwal in jail in a fake case. His health is in serious danger. He has lost 8.5 kg of weight and his sugar level has gone below 50 five times while sleeping. This is a worrying situation especially for a diabetic patient.’
‘Kejriwal is not getting proper medical facilities’
He said, ‘If Kejriwal suffers a stroke, if he suffers brain damage or permanent injury, who will be responsible for it?’ The minister claimed that the AAP chief is not getting proper medical facilities in jail. When the minister was asked if he would approach the court over the matter, he said that he is consulting his lawyers and doctors on the issue.
Atishi said, ‘BJP should know that if anything happens to Arvind Kejriwal, not only the country but even God will not forgive them.’
