Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has instructed thousands of Australian citizens living in Lebanon to return immediately. He said that Beirut airport may close soon. Anthony Albanese also said that people should not travel to Lebanon because if the airport closes, there may be problems in returning home through other routes.
