The date of the presidential election in America is coming closer. The leaders of both the big parties are busy in vigorous campaigning. Massive rallies are being held and many promises are being made to woo the voters. Meanwhile, Trump appealed to the Christian voters to make him win with a bumper number of votes this time. After this, they will never need to vote again. Many meanings are being drawn from his statement. But the Democratic Party did not like his statement at all.

The campaign team of Kamala Harris, the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, has targeted Trump’s polarizing statement. Harris’s team says that Trump’s intention is to destroy democracy and this can be easily understood from his statement.

Harris for President campaign spokesman James Singer says that when Kamala Harris says that this election is about freedom, she believes in it. Our democracy is in danger from criminal Trump. Trump wants to take this country backwards. He wants to push the country’s politics towards hatred and fear. This November we have to unite and stop Trump.

What did Trump say?

Republican Party candidate Donald Trump, while addressing a program organized by conservative group Turning Point Action in Florida, had told Christians that if they vote for him in November, they would not need to vote again.

Trump had said that the Christian population should come out in large numbers and vote. Just this time. After this you will not need to vote. Everything will be set right in four years. After this there will be no need to vote.

He said, “Christians, I love you. I am a Christian. You have to go out and vote. You won’t have to vote in four years. We will make it so that you don’t have to vote.”

Earlier in December, in an interview with Fox News, Trump had said that if he wins the presidential election, he would become a dictator but only for a day so that he could close the southern border with Mexico and expand oil drilling. However, when the controversy over this statement grew, Trump called it just a joke.

Trump will face Kamala Harris

In the presidential election, Trump will face the Democratic Party’s candidate Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris will actually contest the election in place of Biden. Biden withdrew his candidacy in the presidential election citing national interest.
