Chhattisgarh Crime: A man became savage in a property dispute, killed two brothers by crushing them with a tractor

In Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh, the dispute over ancestral property escalated to such an extent that two brothers were beaten up by their own family members and then crushed by a tractor. Due to which they died. While two people including a woman were injured in this attack. The people of the entire village are shocked by this incident. The police informed about this incident on Tuesday.

Giving information about the bloody incident, Mungeli Superintendent of Police (SP) Girija Shankar Jaiswal told PTI that two people were killed in the incident in Gigatara-Chhatan village under Fasterpur police station limits on Sunday, while a man and a woman were also injured in the road attack.

SP Girija Shankar Jaiswal said that according to preliminary information, Toran Patle, a resident of Budhwara village, has seven sons. Toran Patle and his sons Keju Ram, Makhan and Rambali were having a dispute with their three other sons Bhagbali, Vakil and Kaushal over the division of ancestral property.

According to the Superintendent of Police, on Sunday, Toran Patel, his three sons, their wives and two others brutally attacked Bhagbali, Kaushal, Vakil and his wife Santoshi with sticks near their farm. When they resisted, Keju crushed his brothers Bhagbali (55) and Vakil (45) with a tractor, killing Bhagbali on the spot.

On receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and took the three injured to the hospital, where the lawyer also died. The officer said that Kaushal (58) and Santoshi (40) are undergoing treatment. According to the police officer, a case has been registered against nine people in this case.

After this, five of the nine people named have been arrested, including Keju, his wife Chitralekha, Rambali’s wife Rajni, Makhan’s wife Meenakshi and Makhan’s son. SP Girija Shankar said that raids are being conducted to arrest the four other absconding people in this case. Their search is on.
