Charge of BSF handed over to SSB DG, Home Ministry gave responsibility till further orders

While the Home Ministry took a big action against BSF Director General Nitin Agarwal by removing him from the post, a day after this the Center has also handed over the charge of this post to him. It has come to light that a day after sending BSF Director General Nitin Agarwal back to his state cadre, Director General (SSB) Daljit Singh Chaudhary has been given the additional charge of the post of Director General (BSF). The Center has given this additional charge till the appointment of a regular officer on the post of BSF Director General or till further orders.

Let us tell you that the Home Ministry has removed BSF Director General Nitin Agarwal from his post on Friday night. At the same time, BSF Special DG YB Khurania has also been removed and sent back to Odisha cadre. According to the information, Nitin Agarwal has been sent back to his original cadre Kerala. The Home Ministry has called this move premature repatriation.

It is believed that the main reason for the removal of DG BSF and Special DG BSF is the continuous infiltration of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir for the last one year. This is the biggest administrative action of the Indian government regarding the infiltration of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, the brunt of which has fallen on the most senior officers.

Let us tell you that earlier, amid the continuous increase in terrorist attacks in the Jammu region, the Center has decided to transfer 2 battalions of Assam Rifles to the Jammu region to strengthen the security grid. 2 battalions of Assam Rifles from Manipur will be transferred to the Jammu region.

Recently, 3000 additional Army personnel and 2000 BSF personnel were also deployed in Jammu region to strengthen the security grid. Sources reveal that around 40-50 trained Pakistani terrorists are hiding in the upper reaches of Doda, Rajouri, Poonch, Udhampur and other places. Therefore, additional troops are being deployed as part of major anti-terror operations in Jammu region.

Daljit Singh Chaudhary is a 1990 batch UP cadre Indian Police Service officer. He was born on 25 November 1965. Born in Delhi, UP cadre IPS officer Daljit Singh Chaudhary is counted among the sharp officers. He has been awarded the President’s Medal 3 times so far. Seeing the bravery of IPS Daljit Chaudhary, he was made ADG LO i.e. Additional Director General of Police Law and Order in the Akhilesh government of Samajwadi Party. Despite being a UP cadre IPS officer, IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary has been handling big responsibilities at the Center for a long time.

Daljit Singh Chaudhary is a 1990 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of UP cadre. Daljit Chaudhary was born on 25 November 1965 in Delhi. UP cadre IPS officer Daljit Singh Chaudhary is counted among the sharp officers.
