CEO of ‘Parshwanath Landmark’ Sanjeev Jain arrested by Delhi Police, a cat and mouse game continued for 60 kilometers

Parsvnath Landmark CEO Sanjiv Jain to arrest, Sanjeev Jain, director and CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers, was arrested on Sunday after a 60-km chase, Delhi Police said. A non-bailable warrant was issued against Jain after he failed to appear before the consumer commission on July 18.

Police said that they had received information that Sanjeev Jain was trying to flee from India. Based on the information, the police laid a trap and started chasing the CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developer.

The cat and mouse game continued for 60 kilometres

The game of ‘cat and mouse’ continued between Delhi Police and Sanjeev Jain for about 60 kilometers. Despite being chased by the police, Jain managed to reach the airport in an attempt to escape, but Delhi Police finally arrested him.

He was produced before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission

After arresting Sanjeev Jain, he was produced before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Chaudhary said, ‘The Shahdara STF team arrested Jain from IGI airport on Saturday after a non-bailable warrant was issued against the CEO for not appearing before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.’

A non-bailable warrant was issued against Jain on July 18

The joint registrar of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission had issued a non-bailable warrant against Jain on July 18. The dispute between complainant Rajat Babbar and the other party and Jain started after Jain filed a complaint in 2017. At least four non-bailable warrants and one bailable warrant were pending against Jain at Shahdara police station. The statement said, ‘Four non-bailable warrants and one bailable warrant of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission were pending against Jain at Shahdara police station.’
