CDAC C-CAT 2024 Result and Rank Card
Exam Details
- The CDAC C-CAT 2024 exam was conducted on July 6 and 7, 2024 for admission to C-DAC’s PG Diploma courses starting in August 2024.
- The exam was held in a computerized format at test centers across India.
Exam Structure
- The C-CAT exam consists of three sections – Section A, Section B, and Section C – each lasting one hour.
- Candidates had to appear for the specific sections based on the category of courses they had applied for.
- Each section had 50 objective-type questions worth 3 marks each, with a negative marking of 1 mark for wrong answers.
Qualification Criteria
- The lowest 10% of performers in each section will not be qualified for ranking.
- Candidates with zero or negative marks in any section will also be disqualified from the ranking process.
Rank Calculation
- Qualified candidates will be provided ranks based on their performance in Sections A+B or Sections A+B+C, depending on the category of courses they had applied for.
- In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in Section A will be ranked higher.

Result and Rank Card
- The CDAC C-CAT 2024 rank lists are expected to be released on the official CDAC website (cdac.in) in the coming weeks.
- Candidates who clear the C-CAT exam will be considered for admission to C-DAC’s PG Diploma courses starting in August 2024 based on their ranks and course preferences.
