CBI takes big action in Shankar Meena murder case, case filed against four policemen, this is the allegation

Shankar Meena murder case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against four members of a police patrol team and another person in connection with the murder of Shankar Meena in Peeplu area of ​​Tonk district of Rajasthan last year. It is alleged that this murder was the result of collusion between the police and the gravel mafia. An attempt was even made to pass off this murder as an accident.

Actually, last year 20-year-old Shankar Meena was brutally murdered by the gravel and sand mafia. The police tried to cover up the matter. The same was the case with the crime branch of Rajasthan Police, which wanted to hush up the case.

But now the case was handed over to the CBI by the Rajasthan High Court on August 14. As a result of Shankar’s murder, the local people also protested on a large scale against the lease holders of the sand mines.

According to PTI, the CBI investigation had revealed that four members of the police patrol team were in cahoots with the gravel and sand mafia who carried out the murder.

There were protests in Tonk district regarding this murder. The family members of the deceased Shankar Meena had demanded a CBI inquiry in this case. Let us tell you that on June 30 last year, this case number 168/23 was registered in Peeplu police station of Tonk district.
