Bulls signing 2022 second-round pick to new deal

The Chicago Bulls have added forward EJ Liddell, a former second-round draft pick, to a contract.

Details of the deal have not yet been disclosed, but it is likely to be an Exhibit 10 deal.

The addition of Liddell brings the Bulls’ offseason roster to 21 players, the maximum allowed. The Bulls have 14 guaranteed contracts, so if Liddell wants a shot at making the team, he’ll need to pay out of his mind.

As a Buckeye, Liddell was named a third-team All-American in 2022, first-team All-Big Ten in 2022, Big Ten All-Defensive Team in 2021 and second-team All-Big Ten. Was a native of Illinois. A former four-star recruit coming out of high school and very popular in his 2018 class.

The 23-year-old will do his best to make the team, especially considering the contract he has signed.
