In the assembly, CM Yogi said clearly that women’s safety is our first priority. We have been saying this from the very first day. Whoever plays with the respect of women will suffer the consequences. That is why we have suspended the entire police post including the inspector of that area (Gomti Nagar) for negligence. Many officers including DCP and ACP have been removed.
CM Yogi further said that those who are afraid of bulldozers, I would like to tell them that this is not for the innocent. This is for the criminals, who try to compromise the security of sisters and daughters. It is our responsibility to teach such people a lesson.
