Bulldozer ran on the police station in Siddharthnagar, UP! CO and Inspector protested, had an argument with SDM

For the widening of Khajuria Road in Siddharth Nagar district of UP, the administrative officials of the district launched a campaign to remove illegal encroachments. During this time, most of the people removed their illegal encroachments themselves, but the special thing was that the boundary of Tehsil Naugarh and the boundary and main gate of the police station were also under the illegal encroachment. The administrative officials who came to demolish it with a bulldozer had a scuffle with the policemen.

Actually, the main Khajuria Road of the city is recorded as 18 meters in the documents. But people have limited it to about 8 meters by encroaching, due to which there is often a problem of jam. In view of this problem, the Municipality Siddharth Nagar gave notice to the people several times for widening this road. But people were not ready to demolish the front part of their houses.

Finally, the responsibility of making the road encroachment free was given to ADM Umashankar Singh. A joint team of ADM Umashankar Singh, SDM Lalit Kumar Mishra and municipal employees reached Siddharthnagar police station while removing illegal encroachment in Khajuria Road and started using JCB to break the boundary and gate of the police station which was under encroachment. But the station in-charge and CO Arunkant Singh started opposing it. In such a situation, a debate started between the officials of the administration and the police.

Police station in-charge Santosh Kumar Tripathi started asking SDM Lalit Mishra for a written order to demolish the boundary and gate of the police station. On which, ADM Umashankar Singh said that you should tell your officers that ADM/SDM is getting it demolished. When the illegal encroachment of all the people has been demolished, how can this be left. Meanwhile, the common people also started shouting. After which first the newly constructed wall of the tehsil was razed to the ground. Then the bulldozer was run on the wall and main gate of the police station and it was also demolished. Seeing this action, people started shouting slogans.

It is noteworthy that during the removal of encroachment, dozens of houses were demolished on this road. Regarding this matter, ADM Umashankar said that the EO of the municipality had given notice to the people several times. Some people removed the encroachment on their own, but legal action was taken against those who were not removing the encroachment. The gate of the Kotwali police station was also not up to the standard, which was removed in coordination with the police department. The incident is of August 24, the video of which is going viral on social media.
