In Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri district, the administration bulldozed the memorial site of a soldier who was martyred in the Kargil war. The martyr’s family alleges that the bulldozer was used on the memorial site without informing them. They have also complained to the District Magistrate about this. Meanwhile, SP President Akhilesh Yadav has cornered the BJP government over this incident.
The memorial site of Kargil martyr Munish Kumar Yadav is located in Ghutara village of Kishani area. Martyr Munish Yadav was awarded the Shaurya Chakra posthumously, now the wall of his memorial site has been demolished with a bulldozer. The memorial site of the Kargil martyr was completed in the year 2000. It was unveiled by former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav in the presence of then MP Dharmendra Yadav. The family members of martyr Munish Yadav have complained about this matter to DM Avinash Krishna Singh.

The family members of the martyr allege that without informing them and in their absence, the Lekhpal and Revenue Inspector had set up a memorial at the martyr site. Bulldozer It is also alleged that accountant Harsh Kumar had measured and marked the land of the martyr’s memorial last year. Now the same accountant is saying that the measurement done by him was wrong. It is alleged that the accountant got the martyr’s memorial demolished by running a bulldozer in connivance with some people of the village. When Additional District Magistrate Ramji Mishra came to know about this matter, he constituted a team under the leadership of Tehsildar Kishini and ordered to investigate the acts of the concerned accountant and submit its report to the headquarters.

Meanwhile, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP is now running bulldozers on the memorials of martyrs. The administration has done audacity to destroy the statue memorial of Kargil’s brave martyr Munish Yadav built in 2000 in Mainpuri at the behest of the government, which is causing silent anger among the soldiers and patriots of the country. BJP people can never understand the value of martyrdom of those who sacrificed their lives for the honor of the country because history is witness that those who remained the eyes and ears of the colonial rulers instead of supporting the freedom fighters in the freedom movement, how can they know the value of sacrifice.
Akhilesh said that BJP’s politics has started discriminating even among martyrs. This is the worst form of negative politics. If BJP has even a little shame left, then it should immediately suspend all the senior officials from Mandal to district level and restore the statue-memorial with respect. Otherwise, we all will do this together. Extremely, extremely, extremely reprehensible!
