News of destruction due to rain is coming from many cities of the country including Delhi. Monsoon disaster is raining in large areas of the country. Record breaking rain has occurred in Delhi yesterday (31 July), heavy rain is expected today as well. Cloud burst has occurred near Kullu and Shimla districts in Himachal, about 19 people are reported missing in it. Cloud burst has also occurred in Tehri Garhwal of Uttarakhand and the death toll in the landslide in Wayanad, Kerala has reached 256. That is, the havoc of rain continues from the plains to the mountains.
Chaos due to cloudburst in Kullu and Mandi
There is news of heavy destruction due to cloudburst in two districts of Himachal Pradesh. The cloudburst incident has happened in Kullu and Mandi district. 19 people of a power plant project located in Samej of Rampur area of Kullu are missing since the cloudburst. More than 20 houses have been razed to the ground and many vehicles have been washed away, the school of the area also got washed away in the flood. One body has been recovered after the cloudburst in Mandi district while nine people are missing. Mandi district administration has alerted the Air Force for rescue. The local administration present on the spot is engaged in relief work.

Many people missing, rescue operation difficult
Along with the Air Force, help has been sought from the NDRF as well. It is not possible to reach the people trapped in Thaltukhod, so now people will be evacuated with the help of the Air Force and the NDRF. Cloudburst has caused massive destruction in 15-20 areas adjacent to Shimla and Rampur in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. According to information, Kurpan, Samej and Ganvi ravines have been flooded due to cloudburst near Nain Sarovar on the Shrikhand hills. Overflowing of drains in Ganvi of Shimla district and Bagipul Bazaar of Kullu district have caused destruction.
The continuous torrential rain in Uttarakhand since Tuesday has caused a lot of destruction. First there was heavy rain in Tehri and then a cloud burst, due to which two people died. A cloud burst also occurred on the Kedarnath route and a part of the National Highway was flooded. Apart from this, pictures of floods are also coming from Haridwar, Nainital and Bageshwar.
