‘Brother became the CEO of Google, still…’, people started having fun on Sundar Pichai’s special post

There is a belief in India that no matter how much you earn, your parents still have some expectations from you. That is, even if you are working in a big company with a good salary, many times your parents say that it would have been better if you had a government job. If someone is working in a government department, then the parents say – if I had done B.Ed, I would have become a teacher and would have come home on time.

Overall, no matter what the child does, in the eyes of Indian parents there is always scope for improvement. Recently, the post of Google CEO Sundar Pichai has once again sparked this debate and many funny comments are coming on his post.

Actually, Pichai recently posted two pictures on his Instagram in which he is receiving a doctorate degree from IIT Kharagpur. In its caption, he wrote- ‘Last week I received a doctorate degree from my alma mater IIT Kharagpur. It was always my parents’ wish that I get a doctorate degree, I think it means a lot.

He further wrote- Education and access to technology at IIT put me on the path to Google and helped more people access technology. IIT’s role in technology will become even more important with the AI revolution, and I will always be grateful for the time spent there.

It was Pichai’s post that people showered him with congratulations. However, there were some people who were making funny comments. One user wrote – Should we start calling you ‘Doctor Google’ from now on? One user commented on Pichai’s caption and wrote – ‘Brother, you became the CEO of Google but your parents were not happy.’ One jokingly wrote – ‘This is the heart of parents.’ One person wrote – ‘This is the dream of all Asian parents.’ One said – Your college will also be proud of you.
