An encounter is going on between terrorists and security forces in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. Captain Deepak Singh of 48 National Rifles of Indian Army has been martyred in this encounter. This has been confirmed by the Indian Army. Apart from being a military officer, he was also a great hockey player.

Martyr Captain Deepak Singh was posted as a signal officer in the counter insurgency 48 Rashtriya Rifles. He was leading the Quick Reaction Team which was searching for terrorists hiding in Assar of Doda. During this time, he was martyred in an encounter with the terrorists.

The young man was made a field major for leading a company in the army search operation. While leading his company from the front, he killed a terrorist before being martyred in the war field. He was a captain in the National Rifles as well as a brilliant hockey player.

Before his martyrdom, information had come that a terrorist was injured in Assar area of ​​Doda, about whom information has now come out that he has been killed. The army had launched an anti-terror operation in Doda area.

‘Blood soaked bag found during search operation’

According to the information, 4 bags soaked in blood have been recovered from the place of encounter between the army and terrorists, which shows that a group of 4 Jaish terrorists have been seriously injured. It is difficult to confirm their death until the bodies are recovered. Search operation is being conducted by the army.

There was an encounter between the army and terrorists in Doda district last month. Five soldiers, including an officer who was seriously injured in the encounter with terrorists, died in the hospital during treatment. The encounter took place when the soldiers of the National Rifles and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint search operation in Dhari Gote Urarbagi in the Desa forest area, about 55 km from Doda city.
