BJP released the sixth list for JK assembly elections, gave tickets to 5 Muslim candidates

The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its sixth list of candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. There are a total of 10 candidates in this list, out of which five are Muslim candidates. The party has fielded Dr. Bharat Bhushan from the Kathua Assembly seat.

Talking about Muslim candidates, Idris Karnahi from Karnah, Ghulam Mohammad Mir from Handwara, Abdul Rashid Khan from Sonawari, Naseer Ahmed Lone from Bandipora, Fakir Mohammad Khan from Gurez have been given tickets.

Among other candidates, R.S. Pathania has been fielded from Udhampur East, Dr. Bharat Bhushan from Kathua, Rajiv Bhagat from Bishnah, Vikram Randhawa from Bahu and Surind Bhagat from Marh.

Jammu and Kashmir, how many seats in which region

There are a total of 90 assembly seats in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 47 seats are in Kashmir and 43 seats are in Jammu region. If we talk about the period before delimitation, till the 2014 elections, there used to be 87 seats, out of which 37 seats were in Jammu and 46 seats were in Kashmir. There were four seats in Ladakh as well. After the change in the status of the state, Ladakh has become a separate union territory. In the delimitation that took place after this, six seats have increased in Jammu and one seat in Kashmir.

Amit Shah had released the resolution letter

Let us tell you that on Friday itself, BJP had released its manifesto for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the party’s manifesto. He said that since independence, the territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been important for our party. We have made many efforts to keep it together. He said that Article 370 has become history, it can never come back. Because this was the ideology that put stones in the hands of the youth.

Amit Shah said that talks and bomb blasts cannot happen together. Not in favour of talks with Pakistan. Amit Shah said that I have already said that the status of the state will be restored. There should be no confusion on this.
