Councillor Ram Chandra, who took a U-turn after joining the BJP and returned to the Aam Aadmi Party, issued a video statement alleging that some people came to my house and took me in a car to the Bharatiya Janata Party office. AAP councillor Ram Chandra from Ward 28 also alleged that he has been threatened with filing ED and CBI cases against him.
In the video statement, he is saying that ‘My son called on 100 number, police came. AAP leaders also called the police, only then I was released home. I am not afraid of ED and CBI, I am Kejriwal’s soldier.’

Delhi BJP termed the allegations as rumours
Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor has issued a statement on social media calling the allegations of AAP leaders as rumours. Addressing Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia, BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor wrote on Twitter, ‘You people are the kings of lies and sensationalism. Whether councilor Ramchandra is in your party or not, we have nothing to do with it. But it is certain that he is sitting in his house and you people are spreading rumours.’
Aam Aadmi Party alleges kidnapping
Now all the big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party are aggressive on BJP. Aam Aadmi Party said that on Sunday, BJP once again resorted to its dirty politics to win the elections of ward committees of Delhi Municipal Corporation. Some goons of BJP forcibly kidnapped AAP councilor Ram Chandra from ward 28 in their car. Ramchandra’s son Akash released a video and gave this information to the senior leaders of AAP.
After this, Aam Aadmi Party came into action. The party posted that video on X and raised serious questions on the law and order of Delhi and asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi LG VK Saxena and Police Commissioner what is happening in Delhi?
Akash called on 100 and informed the Delhi Police about the entire incident and many senior leaders of AAP talked to the Police Commissioner over the phone and demanded to release councilor Ramchandra from the clutches of BJP as soon as possible. After heavy pressure from all sides, the BJP people left Ramchandra at his home through someone.
