BJP appoints new presidents in Bihar and Rajasthan, and also appoints in-charges in 6 states

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced new presidents in Bihar and Rajasthan. Dilip Jaiswal has been made the state president of Bihar BJP while Madan Rathod has been made the state president of Rajasthan.

In Bihar, Dilip Jaiswal (61) has been made the state president in place of Samrat Chaudhary. Jaiswal is currently the Revenue and Land Reforms Minister in the Bihar government. He has been a member of the Bihar Legislative Council since 2009 and this is his third term. Coming from the Vaishya community, Dilip Jaiswal is considered to have a good hold in the Seemanchal region. He has been the treasurer of Bihar BJP for a long time. Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore has been appointed the president of Rajasthan.

At the same time, BJP has also appointed in-charges in six states. BJP has appointed Harish Dwivedi as in-charge of Assam. MP Atul Garg has been appointed in-charge of Chandigarh, Arvind Menon for Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu, Radhamohan Das Aggarwal for Rajasthan and Dr. Rajdeep Roy for Tripura.
