A young woman committed suicide by hanging herself in a hotel room in Purnia, Bihar. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. The deceased was preparing for competitive exams while staying in a girls’ hostel. The girl took this step after being betrayed in love.
According to the information, the girl was friends with a photocopy shop owner. After studying for a few days in Purnea, Nisha got herself admitted to GNM College Patna and went there for studies. During this time, her boyfriend Raj Kumar also kept meeting Nisha in Patna and both of them used to talk on the phone for hours. They had physical relations many times.

It is being told that when the families of both came to know about their love, Nisha’s family proposed marriage to Raj Kumar’s father. But Raj Kumar’s father demanded 20 lakh rupees in dowry. After which cracks started appearing in their relationship.

After this, her lover Raj Kumar also refused to marry Nisha. Hurt by this, Nisha committed suicide by hanging herself in a hotel room. The police found a suicide note at the spot in which she wrote that my lover Raj is the only one responsible for my death, Bhaiya Papa, please forgive me. Apart from this, I had no other option. I have become very infamous. The boy and his family have ruined me.
