The police has solved the murder mystery of JDU leader Vibhav Rai in Bagaha, Bihar. The police has disclosed the murder case and arrested four accused including the shooter. The police has also recovered the weapon used in this crime. The police has said that he was murdered in the fight for political supremacy.
Vibhav Rai was murdered on 7 August
To execute this murder conspiracy, Vikas Singh had made complete planning along with Ravi Prakash, Vijay Yadav alias Tiger, and Nanhe Singh. After this, Vibhav Rai was shot dead in Tamkuha market of Dhanaha police station area on 7 August. After the murder, there was an uproar in the area and Vibhav Rai’s supporters protested.
According to the information, there was a long-standing rivalry between Khairwa Panchayat’s Mukhiya’s husband Mantu Singh and Vibhav Rai over political dominance. Recently, the dispute between these two had increased further over the construction of Panchayat Government Building.
The contract for murder was given for Rs 5 lakh
Police investigation has revealed that in this battle for supremacy, Mantu Singh, with the help of his relative Vikas Singh, had given a contract of Rs 5 lakh to Vibhav Rai for his murder. After this, Vikas Singh, Ravi Prakash and Vijay Yadav alias Tiger, Ravindra Nagardhus together hatched a conspiracy to commit the murder.
Two lakh rupees were paid before the incident and another two lakh rupees were given after the murder. Vikas Singh alias Tiger had reached Devipur in UP to pay the remaining one lakh rupees where the police got wind of it.
Police arrested all the accused
Based on the input, the police conducted a raid and arrested the four accused. The arrested accused include Ravi Prakash, Vijay Yadav alias Tiger, Vikas Singh alias Vivek Singh, and Nanhe Singh alias Krishna Kumar Singh.
Regarding this murder, SP Sushant Kumar Saroj said that the current head of Khairwa Panchayat, Mantu Singh, is behind the murder of Vibhav Rai. There was a political battle going on between the two over the construction of Panchayat Government building.
